WE DON'T WASH (JUST) FOR SHOW

Every bike that passes through our workshop will be professionally cleaned in our specialized facility. We don't do it just for show - in fact, you often only discover a fault when the bike is perfectly clean. Not to mention that dirty components often lead to big problems.

WE ARE ALL ABOUT SAFETY

We stick to the motto that every bike we return to the customer after servicing must be safer than the one they brought us. During servicing, we check the condition of your brakes, tires, tubeless systems, operating fluids, and even cables that can wear out over time. We're keen cyclists ourselves, and we want to make sure you get home safely and always stop in time.

INDIVIDUAL APPROACH

We're all in a hurry. And there is not enough free time to enjoy in the saddle to spend waiting for servicing. We've designed our booking system to let you know immediately when your bike is ready for more mileage. But anything can happen, and if you need ultra-fast service, give us a call and we'll do our best to help.

HOW IS SERVICING PERFORMED?

Nobody wants to wait. You're missing out on experiences in the saddle, we're missing out on work. That's why at Kolofix we make sure that our online ordering system is quick and easy. If you entrust your bike to us, this is how servicing will be carried out:

Choose the date and service that suits you best. Simply online.

2. BRING THE BIKE(S) TO THE BRANCH OF YOUR CHOICE
At takeover, the technician will inspect the bike completely, suggest servicing tasks, agree on the scope of work and the final price. Don't forget to tell the technician what's bothering you about your bike or what you want to change.

3. CONFIRMATION OF PERFORMED SERVICING
If our technician discovers something beyond the original agreement during servicing, he will call you to confirm the scope of work, final price, and handover date.

Answers to frequently asked questions
  • HOW LONG DOES SERVICING TAKE? WHAT TYPES OF BIKES DO YOU SERVICE?
    You can specify when the bike should be ready in your order. We will communicate with you if the date changes. Upon receipt of the bike, we will confirm the pick-up date you have selected in your order. If the scope of work exceeds your order, the mechanic will communicate with you directly on the spot, including a realistic date for handing over the bike.
  • WHEN SHOULD I COME IN FOR A WARRANTY INSPECTION?
    Schedule a warranty inspection within 3 months of purchase or within 300 kilometers. The bike needs to be adjusted and everything must be tightened to make sure it works as it should and to avoid its possible damage - safety.
  • HOW MUCH WILL SERVICING COST?
    You will find out the price of servicing when you hand the bike over to our service point. Should there be an unexpected increase during servicing, we will communicate with you again.
  • HOW IS THE SUSPENSION SERVICED?
    Suspension servicing is carried out directly in our shock absorber shop. Simply order separate suspension servicing and then bring the component to the branch of your choice. This is the fastest way to get your suspension serviced and completed within 5 days, even during the peak season.
  • DO YOU ALSO SERVICE SHIMANO DI2 AND SRAM AXS DERAILLEURS?
    Yes, all our service points have the necessary equipment to diagnose, update, and adjust these derailleur systems.
  • I'D LIKE A BIKE THAT'S ATYPICAL. DO YOU DO CUSTOM BUILDS?
    Individual bike building is the highest form of servicing work, which we will be happy to do for you.
  • I JUST NEED TO CHANGE THE BRAKE PADS / TUBES / CHAIN, IT'S A QUICK JOB - CAN I COME STRAIGHT TO THE BRANCH?
    In order to meet all repair deadlines, we need to plan our work well. If you're stressed for time, give us a call at 800 01 01 01 and we'll find out how busy our nearest service is.
  • I GOT A FLAT ON THE ROAD, CAN YOU HELP?
    Do you have an emergency on the road? You can come to us without an appointment, we'll gladly replace a flat tire or fix a broken chain on the spot so you can always get home or to work. However, you will need to make an appointment for other servicing.
  • DO YOU SERVICE FOX COMPONENTS?
    Sure! We are a certified workshop for the FOX brand.
  • WHY DO I HAVE TO SERVICE THE SUSPENSION?
    Service intervals are set by the component manufacturer. The longest interval for suspension servicing is generally 1 year. The operating fluids in the components degrade with use, changing their properties and becoming contaminated with dirt from the bike's operation. It is no exception that after a year of riding, the original clear oil is completely black. Without servicing, irreversible damage to the components can occur.
